Special Education
The district provides a range of special educational programs matched with students’ individual needs including resource specialist programs at all school sites, special day class, psychological services, and speech and language services. The goal of the special education program is to support students who have disabilities with opportunities to be successful in school. Teachers write individual goals and objectives aligned to state standards and curriculum. Support staff is trained to assist students both in an out of the classroom in meeting their individualized learning goals.
