Intervention Programs
Intervention programs in the Piner-Olivet Union School District are designed to support students in attaining the academic standards. Each school provides interventions at varying levels of intensity for students who struggle with learning. These intervention programs are matched to student need and assist students in reading, writing, and math during the school day. In addition, teachers and support staff provide tutoring for students before and after school to assist them in reaching district benchmarks. An extended year, summer school program is offered annually for students to improve their skills and make academic progress toward district grade level benchmarks.
