Organizing Your Computer & File Management – Schaefer Computer Lab

This workshop will provide staff with file management strategies including backing up files, saving tofolders, storing on the server, installing new software programs, recovering lost files, virus protection, and     setting up jpegs for digital cameras.

This workshop will provide teachers with general technology knowledge and skills for using the District’s Website and enhancing individual teacher Web pages.

Orientation to Computer Basics – Jack London Computer Lab

This workshop will help teachers use district technologies including Multiple Measures, School Wise, Group Wise (Calendar), Laptop Carts, LCD Projectors, and labs.

This workshop will help teachers use technologies associated with the Houghton Mifflin History/Social Science program including E books, Education Place, HM’s home pages, and CD-ROM technology.

This workshop will provide teachers with hands-on practice in creating and designing a newsletter for classroom information and updates.  Learn how to showcase student work and post newsletters to your Webpage.

This workshop will provide teachers with hands-on practice in integrating on-line resources including Brain Pops, software, and Internet graphics into the curriculum.

Presentation Software Skills – Jack London Computer Lab

This workshop will provide teachers with hands-on practice using various presentation software skills that can be used in the classroom.  Participants will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with Interwrite Learning System Technologies.
